Another Arctic cyclone brewing

Another cyclone is brewing in the Arctic. Below are Naval Research Laboratory projections of sea ice drift a few days ahead.

The image below, from Danmarks Meteorologiske Institut (DMI), shows surface pressure over the Arctic Ocean on August 7, 2013.

Below are two projections of pressure and wind direction for August 11 and August 15, 2013.

  1. The map image of surface pressure for August 7th that was subsequently updated with wind direction and speed forecast for 11th and 15th. This in essence makes me want to propose a little trick to remember stuff since, assuming same polar view: The N polar view of land and sea as seen from 0 degree line longitudinally makes me see clearly human outline and how like a headache things go -Using this shorthand.
    Well on the 7th, there was what was called DiPolar Arctic pressure in North with likely thru circulation between. Wouldn't use like feelings.. But you can see how Greenland alters the flow of atmosphere like an irritation blocking things.
